I never meant to start a War....

Jordin Sparks - Battlefield is one amazing song!

Yep, so I'm quite bored and I said I'd blog to pass some time. I went to see 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' yesterday with my friend and even I have to admit it was feckin' brilliant. I seen the first one ages ago, but during the first five minutes I got it confused with another Shia LeBeouf movie 'Disturbia' so I stupidly asked her "Where does the neighbour who kills people fit into the first movie?" Yeah... I just got a weird look and I figured I got mixed up. Anyway the I loves the movie and nearly shed a tear when Optimus Prime died, but I didn't... I get enough slack about crying when EDI died in Stealth!
Probably going to see Public Enemies soon, then Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Then New Moon (when it comes out, I'm sure there will be loads more thrown in there)

This song needs a mention, Green Day - 21 Guns. I want to cry every time I hear it, Billie Joe's voice is just amazing, more so than usual If that's even possible!

Onto other things... NASCAR mainly, no wait.. More music first. Three Doors Down, there my new favourite band now I think. I'm loving there album 'Away From The Sun' absolutely awesome! I totally have to thank Dale Jr for that, because if it wasn't for him being in their 'Road I'm On' video, I wouldn't have gotten into them as much.

Anyway... NASCAR!
Lemme see, Nationwide first I guess.

The Subway Jalapeno 250 - Isn't shown on Sky, so I have to watch it online, which I totally forgot about until I heard that A wreck on Lap 58 knocked Jr. out of the race. Contact from Chase Austin's Chevrolet turned the Dodge of Patrick Sheltra into the outside wall just beyond the exit of Turn 2. Steven Wallace spun while taking evasive action and clobbered Earnhardt's Chevrolet. So God Damn! Then I watched the rest of it, and Clint Bowyer won, making it his first win ever at Daytona Super Speedway, So I was super stoked for him.

Sprint Cup now.. The Coke Zero 400 at Daytona, One of those 'HOLY SHIT' races. I honestly thought Jr was going to whoop ass!, seriously, he's the king of Restrictor Plates racing (Ask if you don't know) anyway he was doing so so, then when he was finally began to pick them all off, some moron, got into another idiot causing a hugh 13 car wreck, and what innocent redneck got caught up in it all? Yep.. Jr, he got the worst of it all and went barreling down the straightaway in a hurl of smoke faster than he ever ran in the race. Very disappointing... but not Jr's fault in any way!, the conclusion? The a frame was torn from the chassis so there was way too much damage to get back out on track, he finished 39th :(

The very last lap of the race was the real 'HOLY SHIT' moment thought, words cant even describe it! You'll just have to watch it!

Got Days Of Thunder aswel, I've seen it loads of times, a long time ago and I know its brilliant, but don't remember most of it, and I loved it before I loved NASCAR!
See Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, I see bits of it before, but looked at it again and love it. Our cousin actually bought two copies of it, one for him and one for us because he knew we loved NASCAR! (Now that very nearly brings a tear to my eye, such a nice thing for him to do!)
Now I have to get Driven, I absolutely love that movie. If you haven't see it, Its about Open-Wheel racing (think F1, or CART). Critics said it sucked and was the worse car movie ever made.. I say fuck em! I love it!
Also got a lend of both Death Race 2000 movies and cannot wait to watch them, I think the concept is hilarious! Set in the year 200 and the object is to gain points not by how fast you drive, but who you run over! OAP's and babies are high in points!

I really have to get 3: The Dale Earnhardt Story. It was actually shown on like RTE 1/2 or TV3 not so long ago, but I never knew...
Also have to get Dale a documentary about Dale Earnhardt Senior, not to mention getting Shifting Gears, Back in the Day and Any Given Day (all Dale Jr related)

Shifting Gears looks awesome!

Anyway, I think that's about all I got to write about for now. So y'all have a nice Tuesday!

Fryer's Five: Dover - NASCAR - Yahoo! Sports

Fryer's Five: Dover - NASCAR - Yahoo! Sports: "Earnhardt left his seat in Sunday’s pre-race driver meeting to approach Busch, and the two talked for a moment. What the conversation was about might have been left open for debate if a representative of Earnhardt’s had not said the brief discussion was off-limits during Earnhardt’s post-race interviews."

Dude!, I'd give anything to be a fly on the wall when this took place! Go Jr!

Sunny in Ireland? WTH!

Ahhhhhh.....

For once its actually warm and sunny, It appears we're having an early summer heat wave (which is about 22 degree's in Ireland - WOW right?). It would be nice for those of you who love the sun and warmth, but for me, it sucks. I hate heat, I hate the sun, I hate sunburn, I want it to snow!
Anyway, snow isn't looking likely so I'll just carry on, cowering inside on my laptop... blogging.
So NASCAR...

First off;
I officially hate Kyle Busch, he just can't keep his mouth shut, especially where it's not wanted, and it's just like him to take a shot when another driver is struggling, He got what he deserved in the end though a shit week in NASCAR's three top divisions.
Nationwide Series;
I didn't get to catch the Nationwide Series race as I was babysitting, so I just followed the leader-board on NASCAR.com.
My two favourite drivers finished first (Brad Keselowski) and Second (Joey Logano), plus Jr was there in victory lane to celebrate with Brad and its good to see a smile on his face, especially with the week he had. The win was a real boost for JR Motorsports too!

Sprint Cup Series;
Oh yeah onto the good stuff! The Autism Speaks 400 at Dover!
Ok, so i did miss the last 70 or so laps of the race because I had to babysit (Its been months since I've had to babysit, then i have to babysit for two different cousins, two different nights, on the same weekend, I'm not complaining though, its a few bob!) Anyway, yeah, so before 7pm hit I searched for DVD's, none of which were blank so I deleted what was on them on and set one up to record the race!

I have to admit I was really apprehesive about the race, as to how Jr would run with his new interm Crew Cheif and crew members. I needn't have been worried, he did fucking brilliant! He had a top 5 car most of the day, but one little setback with the setup made him have to return to the pits, which left him 17th, but he fought back and finished 12th! Which certainly beats his Coca Cola 600 finish which was 40th.
So yes, very happy with how he ran and he's happy too.
Aswell as that, Tony Eury Jr is doing fine aswell!, He's heading to Infineon Raceway with Jimmie Johnson for testing, because Chad Knaus will be busy. Thats awesome, I hated to think that he;d be left to the side, but he's not and for Chad to be leaning on Eury Jr is awesome!

Finally, I was looking through random Dale Earnhardt Jr picture's and I think I found my favourite one ever!

Have a look! =)

Dale Earnhardt Jr, Cabbage Patch Kid

Is it wrong that I'm an 18 year old, but I'd still kill to have my very own Dale Jr - Cabbage Patch Kid?

I've never had a CPK when I was younger, so why not get one now, while its my favourite driver?

<-How Cute Is That?
They've also done a Jeff Gordon one, but I havent seen it. I will have to get my hands on that too, I wonder if they'll make any more?

Ohhh ohh and NASCAR are gonna make a movie!, about what happens when the humans leave the garage and the cars come to life! Brill! Its going to be called NASCAR: The Secret Life Of Cars.

Hmm Dover 400 Qualifying is on now, but I'm a bit confused! Where's Jr and Logano in the qualifying order? Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick for that matter? Strange, anyway I leave you with a close up of the...

Dale Earnhardt Jr - Cabbage Patch Kid!

OMG... Would You Believe!

Just as I created this blog (because Bebo was being an ass), Bebo stopped becoming an ass! and Is now back to normal with new smilies!

Sometimes I reckon that technology knows whats going on.. Like bebo knew that I moved onto blogger and decided to fix up my page, and like the time Internet Explorer was being an ass and I moved onto Mozilla and when it became an ass I went back to Internet Explorer and it was perfect!..

I think technology sucks up to people big time!..

Anyway Sure while I'm here I might as well give you a few links.

Bebo Groups That I Moderate:
Official Jeff Hardy Worshippers
2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
2009 NASCAr Nationwide Series

You can find me on Bebo, MySpace, Facebook, InfieldParking, Blogger, Youtube, Flickr, MSN and a couple of forums here and there.

Anyway, I shall tell you little bit about myself. So yup as you can see to your right, I'm 18, Irish and a hellovalotta people can't pronounce my name!

I'm a big Jeff Hardy fan, and have been now for over 10 year, he's the reason I got into watching wrestling and he's the reason I'm still interested in it, I don't watch it much, But I always keep track of whats going on with him for my group (Linked above).

I fucking love NASCAR! Its the best motorsport EVER! There's nothing like hearing the roar of engines at the weekend!

My favourite NASCAR drivers are:

Dale Earnhardt Jr

Joey Logano

Jeff Gordon

Jimmie Johnson

Tony Stewart

Kevin Harvick

Carl Edwards

I can't live without music either. Don't play and instrument or sing, I just listen and love it. Hoe awesome are Shinedown? If you don't have 'The Sound Of Madness' then I demand you all go and get it!, Ever song is amazing!, No exceptions, and thats a rare thing to find with an album!

I'm really loving Carolina Liar aswell, Got the album, but so far I've only listened to
'Show me What I'm Looking For' and 'Coming To Terms' simply because I can't get enought of them!

Back to NASCAR, Its heading to Dover this weekend and I'm there! Not literally unfortunatly, but I'll be watching, at the edge of my seat, hoping to see Jr improve and Joey beat his 9th place best finish!

Can't wait!

A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words

So my first Blog, and I'm proud to say its about Dale Earnhardt Jr, but it also makes me sad.

Assuming you don't know who Dale Jr is, then good god almighty do some research! Assuming you do know who he is, then you probably know that Thursday (28th May) Rick Hendrick announced to the world that Tony Eury Jr will no longer be Dale's Crew Chief.

Although its a good move that has worked wonders with other drivers, I can't help but feel heartbroken for both Jr's.

Eury Jr and Earnhardt Jr are first cousins, They've worked on and off together for years, have fought with each other, yet they've always backed each other up.

“Every time I read in the paper that people are on his case I feel like I’m sending my brother to jail for a crime I committed,” Earnhardt said in one of his early season defenses of Eury."

And even now when a lot of people are blaming Eury Jr, Jr still backs him up.

“Tony Jr. is a good crew chief,” Earnhardt said during an appearance at Motor City Casino in Detroit. “We’ve had success, but this year, we aren’t even mediocre. And the last couple weeks, we’ve arguably been one of the worst teams on the track. He’s really, really talented, and I feel a lot of disappointment and failure for not being able to take advantage of that. Maybe the truth is that we just aren’t meant to do it together. That’s tough to admit, and even tougher to believe.”

Anyway, the pictures of Jr from when he was talking with the reporters about the split, well there heartbreaking..
Everyone knows its for the best, but still, I hate seeing Jr (A man I don't even know!) upset and there's no denying by the pictures, that the man is upset. =(
